The Recurring Faces of Evil

Last night on the Mike Malloy show  I heard him mention Howard “Cookie” Krongard and his brother, A.B. “Buzzy” Krongard. There it was again. The familiar “snap” of recognition. Ex -CIA, recent Blackwater board member, Buzzy managed the firm that was used to place the put options on United Airlines a few days before 9/11.

I remember the first time I had that “snap.” I was researching The Phoenix Program, the Army/CIA “pacification” campaign in Vietnam. The Phoenix Program routinely involved sweeps through hamlets to make mass arrests, brutal interrogations, the destruction of villages, napalming of rice fields and wide-spread assassination. The first Secretary of Homeland Security, Tom Ridge, was a veteran of this terror program which left upwards of 30,000 dead civilians. And then I came across the name, Edward Lansdale.

Who was he? An Air Force Major General, served in the OSS, the CIA, and allegedly a model for a character in Graham Greene’s, The Quiet American, and Eugene Burdick’s The Ugly American. He was a mastermind behind the scenes in the Philippines, the installation of the American-backed government of Ngo Dinh Diem in South Vietnam, and the plots to kill Castro.

He was also in Dallas on November 22, 1963. According to Fletcher Prouty, he wasn’t surprised when he realized Lansdale was in Dallas for the assassination … he was there to make sure nothing went wrong. Lansdale was supposedly visiting his son in San Antonio, but a claim check found in his personal papers places him at a hotel used by the presidential entourage the night before the assassination.

Researching Lansdale further you’ll come across General John Singlaub and Oliver North. Singlaub established connections with Latin American neo-Nazis in the anti-Semitic World Anti-Communist League (and later served as its president). His work in the international arms trade made him one of the linchpins of the Iran-contra scandal. Oliver North regarded himself as a Lansdale protégé and was North’s hero.

The same players pop-up over and over again when delving into America’s Dark History. It’s like playing a demonic version of “Where’s Waldo.”

After recognizing the names, making the connections, it’s possible to get an idea of the nexus … to catch a brief glimpse behind the curtain and see a part of the machine at work. And become branded a “Conspiracy Theorist.”

All I know is that when I feel that “snap” of recognition triggered by a name from the familiar list of Usual Suspects … it’s time to look into it a little more. Maybe nothing will come of it or maybe it’ll lead to another look behind the curtain.

Conspiracy Theory? What’s the alternative? Buy into only what The Mainstream Media peddles? I think that’s called Coincidence Theory. You know … The Whoopsie-Daisy School of History where Shit Just Happens. Move along. There’s nothing to see here folks.

I’ve found that it’s impossible to unswallow The Red Pill.
